Hello! I’m Natasha, welcome to my little corner of the internet!
I can’t tell you how many times I’ve tried to start this post and ended up just deleting whole paragraphs and starting again. To be honest, I think that’s because I can sometimes find it quite hard to talk about myself, you know, like in one of those icebreakers where you’re asked to share three facts about yourself and your mind suddenly goes blank. What I don’t find hard to talk about though, are things I really enjoy and have a passion for, and they’re exactly the kind of things you can expect to read about on this blog.
Starting a blog is something I’ve always toyed with, the first time I took the idea seriously was during my second year at uni in 2018 (this feels like such a long time ago now) and I bowled into my friend’s bedroom with a notebook full of ideas which I blurted out to her before we watched an untold amount of Netflix.
After that, I got as far as drafting a few posts and even designing the blog, but it stayed private and I never really got it off the ground. It was just one of those things I didn’t back myself enough to stick to at the time. But now, I find myself thinking about it more and more and craving my own creative outlet to express my thoughts and produce something which can be shared with someone just like you for a moment of escapism.
Now that my opening ramble is out of the way, and before you get back to browsing, I’ll tell you just a few more basic bits about me. In short, I’m a London girl with Greek Cypriot roots who loves to write and is trying her best to navigate the world, and I hope that now you’ve come to the end of this post you’ll want to stick around and explore what’s to come!
